This press clip titled “Coltrane still on track” featured the Evan Carydakis Quartet with Brenden Siemsen on guitar, Andrew Dennis on drums and Peter Waddle on Bass as part of their upcoming performance as part of the 2019 MONA FOMA block party performance in Launceston.
The clip interviews Evan about his inspiration for the performance which was based on a John Coltrane album titled “First Meditations“. The album was recorded on September 2, 1965 and posthumously released in 1977.
