New EP “All Four One” out NOW!
With roots in jazz, pop, rock, and R&B, Melbourne-born saxophonist Evan Carydakis first made waves in 2021 with Groove House, a soulful and rhythmic debut EP that Jazz World Monthly called “a fiery, funky, hard-edged yet ultra-melodic romp.” The release marked the arrival of a dynamic new voice in smooth jazz, shaped by genre-spanning influences and an instinct for groove.
Building on that breakthrough, Evan’s 2022 single Movin On reached #42 on the Radio Wave Top 100 and #17 on the Smooth Jazz Radar Chart, earning him a spot among the global Top 50 Smooth Jazz artists. Chicago music journalist Jonathon Widran recognized the rising momentum, calling Evan a “genre powerhouse with the potential for lasting impact in the years ahead.”
That promise began to unfold in 2023 with the heartfelt single Cherry Pops, a tribute that resonated deeply with audiences and critics alike. The track hit #1 on the Smooth Jazz Global 30 Below Chartbound and landed on multiple international charts, including #28 on the Smooth Jazz Global Top 100 and #34 on the Radio Wave Top 100 Groove Jazz Album Chart. UK blogger Steve Sheppard praised it as “exceptionally bright, loving, and thoroughly enjoyable.”
Then came the defining moment. In 2024, Evan reached a new pinnacle with Paradise Beach—his first national number-one hit. The track soared to #1 on the Smooth Jazz Club Spain & LATAM Top 100 and climbed to #3 on the Radio Indie International Top 30 Network Chart. Radiating freedom, rhythm, and coastal bliss, Paradise Beach marked not just a chart-topping success, but a creative zenith—cementing Evan’s place on the global smooth jazz stage.
Now, in 2025, Evan brings it all together with All Four One, a collection of four defining singles that chronicle his smooth jazz journey—Groove House, Movin On, Cherry Pops, and Paradise Beach. Each track stands strong on its own, but together they tell a story of growth, groove, and gratitude. From the heartfelt tribute of Cherry Pops to the liberating energy of Paradise Beach, this collection reflects Evan’s path so far—and the music that continues to move him forward. Four songs, one journey—All Four One.
